Dr. Pamela Williamson Inducted into the Nevada Women’s Hall of Fame with Minority Lifetime Achievement Award

Dr. Pamela Williamson, current President & CEO, at the Women’s Business Enterprise Council West (WBEC-West), was recently inducted into the Nevada Women’s Hall of Fame (WHOF) on March 16th, 2018, at a luncheon ceremony at Lawry’s The Prime Rib in Las Vegas, Nevada.

The awards featured a VIP Champagne Reception sponsored by Laura & Kevin Fairchild with Celebrity Emmy Award Winner TV Anchor John Huck from FOX5.

The Women’s Hall of Fame honored all finalists and honorees from the 2017ATHENA® Awards, held on January 19, 2018. The awards are about honoring career achievements, community support and the continued achievements of women and young professionals in any career in the state of Nevada.

The 2018 Women’s Hall of Fame (WHOF) Minority Lifetime Achievement Award was presented to Dr. Pamela Williamson, President and CEO of Women’s Business Enterprise Council-West and Organizational Leadership Corner4Success Charitable Foundation.

An exemplary, dedicated individual, Dr. Williamson has extensive experience as a senior leader for over twenty five years. She has served as the CEO of a SABA 7 consulting firm, overseen quality control at a Psychiatric urgent care facility of a National Behavioral Health Care Organization where she served as Vice President and Deputy Director, and currently serves as the CEO of WBEC-West, one of the nation’s largest third-party certifiers of businesses owned, controlled, and operated by women in the United States.

In her tenure so far, she has managed to reorganize 3 organizations and has successfully turned each one around both programmatically and financially.

Her extensive experience in developing and implementing innovative alliances with key stakeholders has enabled the organizations she has worked with to reach new levels of growth and stability. Her ability to lead and empower staff members creates a strong team environment which filters throughout the entire organization.

For women-owned businesses in Corporate America, she sees a promising future and takes an active role in facilitating connections between corporations and women business enterprises.

She holds a Doctorate in Healthcare Administration, a Master’s degree in Business Administration, and bachelor degrees in both Psychology and Sociology.

Dr. Pamela Williamson Recognized at the 14th Annual ATHENA® Awards Ceremony

The Women’s Chamber of Commerce of Nevada celebrated the 14th Annual ATHENA® International Leadership Awards on January 19, 2018. The ceremony was held at The Orleans Hotel & Casino starting with a VIP Champagne Reception and Silent Auction, sponsored by Laura and Kevin Fairchild, beginning at 11:15am. Master of Ceremony John Huck, Award Winning News Anchor with FOX5 News. Opening Performance by Amie Jo Greer, Las Vegas television personality and entertainer.

The Athena® International Awards is the annual fundraising gala that benefits the charitable work of the Women’s Chamber. All net proceeds award “At Risk” female high school graduates with scholarships for higher education and post-secondary education through the WCCNV Legacy Foundation 501(c) (3) charity. Scholarships are distributed by The Public Education Foundation. This year, MGM Foundation donated an additional $5,000 to the WCCNV Legacy Foundation, allowing the charity to award scholarships to more of these determined young women working towards a brighter future for themselves.
